Head Teller

Retail

The Head Teller is responsible for providing excellent customer service to all FSG customers and providing quality and timely service. The Head Teller is responsible for cross-selling and referring customers to the appropriate representatives of the bank.

Performs all the duties of a Teller. Responsible for currency in vault. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three years related experience and/or training. Comprehensive product knowledge, computer knowledge and supervisory skills are preferred. Other duties as assigned.

Mortgage Closer

Mortgage

The Mortgage Closer packages, prepares and reviews mortgage loan closing documentation by performing the following duties

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare mortgage loan closing packages and coordinate delivery of packages to proper closing agents
  • Review and approve the final settlement statement, and issue funds to the closing agent for disbursement of the loan.
  • Coordinate collection of executed loan closing packages and fees due to FSG Bank from the closing agent and delivery to post-closing within required timeframes.
  • Reconcile fees and funds received from Investors and issue monthly reports.
  • Manage, clear, and report on post-closing exceptions.
  • Ensure accuracy of all documentation and compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate internal and secondary market interest rate lock requests from Loan Officers.
  • Manage the daily import of secondary market interest rates into the loan origination software system.
  • Must work with a sense of urgency and high level of communication and follow-up.

Qualifications:

Candidates for the Mortgage Closer position should have at least a one-year certificate from a college or technical school; three to six months related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Mortgage Loan Originator

Mortgage

The Mortgage Loan Originator will originate loans and work with customers to meet their financial goals. Responsible for helping customers by partnering with them and assisting them through the mortgage lending process. Must be able to listen to what works best for the clients and help them assess what impact their mortgage decision will have on them.

Requires 2+ years of experience as a Mortgage Loan Originator, preferably working with a residential mortgage lender. Book of business preferred. Proficient with lending compliance standards and regulations. Excellent customer service approach. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including professional demeanor. Computer savvy with software experience preferred. Strong organizational skills with strict attention to detail. High school diploma required.

Part Time Teller

Retail

The Teller is responsible for the daily operational function of the branch, including receiving and paying out money and keeping records of money and negotiable instruments. The Teller is responsible for providing excellent customer service to all FSG customers and providing quality and timely service. He/she is also responsible for cross-selling and referring customers to the appropriate representatives of the bank.

Candidates should have two or more years of cash handling experience Other duties as assigned.

Trust Associate

Southeastern Trust

The Trust Associate provides administrative support for the activities of Southeastern Trust Company, the trust division of FSG Bank

Essential Duties, Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Creates and maintains trust account files
  • Completes the process for new account opening
  • Transfers/distributes cash as needed from trust accounts
  • Maintains trust accounting system including ticklers, transactions, addresses, vendors, etc.
  • Serves as a back-up to Operations Manager as needed
  • Orders supplies for the group
  • Answers client calls and transfers calls as needed
  • Keeps and maintains minutes for various committees of the group
  • Scans, copies, and mails documents as needed
  • Creates client presentations

Qualifications:

The Trust Associate position requires knowledge of a specialized or technical nature in such areas as computer operations, word processing systems, telecommunications and related areas. Organizational skills are essential for the role.

Candidates should have at minimum a high school diploma or GED and a certificate from a trade or technical school. One to two years of formal education and/or experience is also preferred.
